About Us!

Wallsend Baptist Church is a loving community who have a passion to grow, worship and serve its local community in Christ’s love and power.

A Family friendly community church in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear.  We have been a church for over 100 years

Eleven years ago we recognised the vision to develop the children’s and young people’s ministry. It was then that we set up our youth club - Youth Matters. We are a very family friendly church.

We have a Junior church within our services, except the first sunday of each monh which is a family service full of informal fun! We are known for our friendly relaxed and family atmosphere.

As we continue in that vision- serving, praying, learning from God’s word are vital tools in our hands.  We need to stir ourselves and be stirred by the Holy Spirit to keep the passion alive.

The town of Wallsend’s spiritual walls (barriers to the message) are still keeping people from responding.  But the vision to see those walls coming down is ours.  With love, faith, unity, perseverance and compassion in service and prayer we will see the growth we need.
